Sealant, Underwater Magic, Single, 290ml/9.8oz Tube, Black | UWM-09 Single

Like all great inventions, Underwater Magic&#8482 was born from a need. The need for a glue that could perform as well under water as above it. And one that would enable us to bring together those two worlds with astonishing results.

Starting with a successful formula used by commercial divers to seal leaks in ships, we teamed with an industry-leading German scientist to push the limits of chemical engineering and created a product that we are proud to call our own. A product that would be aptly named after how it is so often described: Underwater Magic&#8482.

Underwater Magic&#8482 is based on a formula already used by commercial divers to seal ship leaks , under strict maritime authority regulations on site at the port or out on the open sea.

After further development of the product's formula it has been developed so that it is not only suitable for seawater, it is and since 2009 also resistant against chlorine water and other chemicals.

Underwater Magic&#8482 is a 1 component sea and chlorine water resistant glue, which even seals underwater. It is odour free, it's free of: Oxime – acetic acid – isocyanate & solvents , 100% silicone free and Is not affected by: chlorine / salt (sea) water, weathering and uv light, Aliphatic solvents, oils, grease, diluted inorganic acids and alkalis.

Underwater Magic&#8482 is permanently elastic with good abrasion resistance and good mechanical properties. Temperature resistant from -40&degC/&degF degrees to +90&degC / +194&degF, for a short time ( 2 to 3 hours) even to +200&degC / +392&degF, can fill gaps of up to 40 mm and is allowed in areas close to food.

Underwater Magic&#8482 comes in a Standard 'Silicone tube size' used with a standard caulking gun with a filling of 290ml (approx. 9.8 US fl. oz.) or as 600ml bag (approx 20.29 US fl. oz.).&nbsp

Mixing two different colors of Underwater Magic to achieve a custom color is not recommended and will void the performance warranty. The curing process starts as soon as the product comes out of the tube, to a maximum of 7 minutes for skinning to form. There is simply no time for two colors to be mixed and then applied.
