Fully featured, the V-Green 165 incorporates durable TEFC construction with ECM technology to deliver premium energy efficiency from 40 percent to 80 percent versus a standard single speed motor.
Installation on most pumps regardless of manufacturer is as simple as replacing a standard single speed motor, with no additional wiring or plumbing required thanks to the V-Green motor’s integrated user interface. Equipped with digital inputs, the V-Green 165 motor is even compatible with third party pool automation systems.

Port size is the plumbing thread, not the pipe — a 2 inch union measures about 3 inches across the male thread. Amps are compared to within half an amp, since published figures round differently between motor brands. Voltage is never treated as a near miss: a 115V motor is not one step from a 230V supply.
